At the April 30, 2019 Board Meeting, the Directors of The Staten Island Foundation approved grants to organizations seeking the following results:
Education
Increases in the number of Pre-K children meeting their developmental milestones
- Children’s Aid Society: $25,000 — Richmond Early Learning Center: Collaborating to Serve the Whole Child
Increases in the number of youth that obtain a high school diploma, HSE or vocational credential
- African Refuge: $50,000 — Opportunity Youth & Young Entrepreneurs
